Peter, a 17 years old boy who grew up in the Brazilian capital, Reo de Janerio; had a massive curiosity to explore the beauty and the different creatures of Amazon, for instance, he was curious to experience the wonders of the Amazon rainforest. Though being so close to it, he had never gone there because the Amazon was also packed up with numerous venomous and dangerous animals like snakes, crocodiles, spiders, etc therefore his parents didn’t allow him. However, on his 17th birthday, he asked for a trip to Amazon as his gift, but his parents disagreed, after a lot of disagreements it was finally decided that he would go there with his friends but just for 2 days and with every safety equipment possible.
“A bird in hand is better than two in the bush”
~he said respecting his parents’s decision.
the next day they started their journey to the Amazon. When they reached there, peter started to capture the precious moments and the animals. After a lot of enjoyment, they were exhausted and were also completely covered with mud, they had become extremely dirty, therefore, their body including their clothes needed to be washed. Suddenly they heard burble*, the sound of the burble led them to what they were looking for, a waterfall! yes, they found a beautiful waterfall, there they were showered, not just with water but a lot of enjoyment; but their journey was yet going to start when something got their attention, they saw an old hut, with excitement and curiosity they went in it, which led them in a grave situation, they found a corpse! a dead body! everyone became feared as they found a dagger in the corpse's body; the dagger was covered with warm blood which meant the culprit would still be somewhere nearby. Suddenly, the door opened and in the blink of an eye, they were all surrounded by the policemen. The policemen thought that peter and his friends were the offenders but Peter came up with an idea to prove their innocence, the idea was that he told the police that, “ there must be the fingerprints of the culprit on the dagger” the policemen agreed and send the body as well as the dagger and other possessions of the victim for autopsy, and finally they came up with the fact that indeed Peter and his friends were innocent and the real culprit was actually among the policemen. The imposter was immediately arrested and the boys returned to their sweet homes.
Indeed their journey was adventurous!
*the sound of moving water is called Burble
