Pakistan is today, an independent and happy* country, where no one is prohibited to practice their religion and everyone here is genial, gracious and sociable and almost everyone here knows what their nation's history is; but do you know how brutal, cruel as well as captivating and compelling its history is? In this article, we will cover a very detailed history of India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, or basically "The Subcontinent". Although the subcontinent's history dates back to thousands of years ago, I will just start from a quarter of its history and for instance, 1498; this year is when for the first time the Europeans came here, in the subcontinent for trading purposes. The Dark History Of Mount Rushmore

Mount Rushmore, which is in today's world, a quite famous monument; has an untold dark history. It is a mountain in the black hills region of South Dakota carved into the faces of the four presidents of America: George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt, and Abraham Lincoln. Mount Rushmore got its name from a New York attorney, Charles Rushmore when he visited the mount but before it was named "Mount Rushmore" the Lakota people called it "The Six Grandfather's mountain". The Lakota are Native American people who lived there for years, that is why it was owned by them but their access to this Land came to a threat when "White Americans" expanded their territory by physical violation which led to a war between them and between 1866 and 1868, the Lakota allies successfully defeated the U.S military and got their Land back.       The tomb of king          tutankhamen During the thousands of years that have past since the pharaohs were buried in their tombs, treasure hunters and thieves have snuck into the tombs and taken nearly all of the treasure. However, in 1922 one tomb was discovered that was mostly untouched and was filled with treasure. It was the tomb of the Pharaoh Tutankhamun. Where is King Tut's tomb? The tomb is in the valley of kings  near Luxor, Egypt. This was where the Pharaohs and powerful nobles were buried for around 500 years during the history of Ancient Egypt. Who found the tomb? By 1914 many archeologists believed that all of the Pharaoh's tombs in the Valley of the Kings had been found. However, one archeologist named Howard Carter didn't agree.
