PAKISTAN'S EDUCATION SYSTEM

Education is a must for a happy life and a successful career; but it's only achieved by a good system, a system where a student's actual performance matters not his/her grades, where a child is taught skills that the world need, not the silly facts that billions of people already know! but the thing is that a good education system doesn't exist in at least this world. the world is not working on it so is Pakistan.

              No Teaching Quality

in this developing modern world, teaching is considered a crucial profession. Teachers are given special training to enter this field. Unfortunately in Pakistan, most of the teachers are the people who couldn't be successful with their actual field and didn't know what to do with their degrees!

         Limited Fields

There are thousands of fields in the world that are highly respected. Students can choose to enroll in whatever field they are interested in but in Pakistan, students are literally told to choose between Medical and Engineering! Girls mostly get enrolled in Medical and boys in Engineering, isn't that weird?
these two are the only fields that are highly respected, and mainly the "Plan A" of everyone while other fields are referred to as minors and their "plan B". So basically there is no clear path for a career.

      A profitable Business

Nowadays Education has mainly become a business. The number of private schools is increasing day-by-day, now you would be thinking, " what's wrong with that?" the answer is that the schools have no quality Education just a copious amount of fees, and surprisingly people send their children to these typically expensive schools in order to show off! not knowing that it will destroy their child's life!

        Cramming AKA Ratta

Cramming, mostly called "Ratta" in Pakistan is the most horrible thing ever in my accordance! Google defines this as: " study intensively over a short period of time just before an exam" but I call it "intelligence destroyer" because every time you get to learn something new, you are told to just memorize it rather than understand it.

        No Practical Work

In Pakistan, students read books to pass exams, which is quite a traditional way, it makes Pakistan seem like it's living in past! No experimenting, no physical or practical work just theoretical Education! Even degree holders don't have any skill to earn a handsome amount of money or compete with the modern age.

          Conclusion

Nothing has really changed in Pakistan's education system for years, I can't even hope for something better, I'm not being a so-called "pessimist" but a realist!
however, there are some schools in the minority that provide quality Education and I study in one of them and I'm proud of that. All I want to say, especially to the students is that the world is your oyster, do what you want to do.

Pre-partition: explained

Pakistan is today, an independent and happy* country, where no one is prohibited to practice their religion and everyone here is genial, gracious and sociable and almost everyone here knows what their nation's history is; but do you know how brutal, cruel as well as captivating and compelling its history is? In this article, we will cover a very detailed history of India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, or basically "The Subcontinent". Although the subcontinent's history dates back to thousands of years ago, I will just start from a quarter of its history and for instance, 1498; this year is when for the first time the Europeans came here, in the subcontinent for trading purposes. Firstly, in 1498, there came a Portuguese explorer named "Vasco da Gama", who was the first Portuguese as well as the first European to enter this land. He reached here successfully with the help of "Ibn Majid", an Arab sailor. Ibn Majid helped Vasco da Gama through his journey fr...

Israeli-Palestinian conflict

Israeli-Palestinian conflict The Israeli–Palestinian conflict is the ongoing struggle between Israelis and Palestinians that began in the mid-20th century. Various attempts have been made to resolve the conflict as part of the Israeli–Palestinian peace process, with only partial success, as at the end of 2019. The origins to the conflict can be traced back to Jewish immigration and sectarian conflict in Mandatory Palestine between Jews and Arabs. It has been referred to as the world's "most intractable conflict," with the ongoing Israeli occupation of the West Bank and the Gaza Strip reaching 53 years. Despite a long-term peace process and the general reconciliation of Israel with Egypt and Jordan, Israelis and Palestinians have failed to reach a final peace agreement. The key issues are mutual recognition and security, borders, water rights, control of Jerusalem, Israeli settlements, Palestinian freedom of movement, and Palestinian right of return. The violence of the...

ADVENTURE TIME!

Safety first! Peter, a 17 years old boy who grew up in the Brazilian capital, Reo de Janerio; had a massive curiosity to explore the beauty and the different creatures of Amazon, for instance, he was curious to experience the wonders of the Amazon rainforest. Though being so close to it, he had never gone there because the Amazon was also packed up with numerous venomous and dangerous animals like snakes, crocodiles, spiders, etc therefore his parents didn’t allow him. However, on his 17th birthday, he asked for a trip to Amazon as his gift, but his parents disagreed, after a lot of disagreements it was finally decided that he would go there with his friends but just for 2 days and with every safety equipment possible. “A bird in hand is better than two in the bush” ~he said respecting his parents’s decision. the next day they started their journey to the Amazon. When they reached there, peter started to capture the precious moments and the animals. After a lot of enjoyment, they were ...
